Eric Osterweil

个人履历

Eric Osterweil 是 Verisign Labs 团队中的高级研究工程师。他于 2010 年获得了加州大学洛杉矶分校计算机科学系的博士学位。他在互联网研究实验室 (IRL) 内完成了论文工作，他的导师是张丽霞教授，他的论文主题是关于名为 "Measurable Security"（“可度量安全性”）的新型网际网路防盗系统基质。

Eric 是 IETF 和其他研究社群的积极成员。在 IETF 中，他积极参与协议和系统的改良，例如 DNS 和 DNSSEC。作为他参与的社群活动之一，Eric 编写了多个有利于推进 DNSSEC 部署的公共程序（包括 SecSpider、dnsfunnel、dnskey-grab 和 Vantages）。Eric 的很多操作性交流促进了其研究成果在多个 ACM 和 IEEE 场合中的发表。

在大学时期，Eric 同时完成了约翰霍普金斯大学计算机科学和物理学学士学位所要求的课程。大学毕业后，他在多家公司和多个专业岗位上工作了 8 年左右。
