Duane 是 DNS 研究的首席工程师，主要研究 DNSSEC 项目。他负责收集并分析部署根区域首次推广过程中的大量数据。他的主要工作是 Verisign（威瑞信）的 DNSSEC 互操作性实验室及其他内部和公共使用的 DNSSEC 工具。同时还管理合作性质的大学科研项目。
在加入威瑞信之前，Duane 是 DNS 操作分析研究中心 (DNS-OARC) 的董事。Duane 乐于参加各种技术交流会，同时也是北美网络运营商集团 (NANOG) 董事会的成员。
