Biografie
Duane Wessels is Principal Engineer in de afdeling DNS-onderzoek, die zich richt op DNSSEC-projecten. Hij is verantwoordelijk voor het verzamelen en analyseren van grote hoeveelheden gegevens tijdens het uitbrengen van de ondertekende hoofdzone. Hij werkt aan het Versign DNSSEC interoperability lab en andere DNSSEC-toepassingen voor zowel intern als openbaar gebruik. Hij beheert ook onderzoeksprojecten in samenwerking met universiteiten.
Voordat hij bij Verisign kwam werken, aansloot was Duane de directeur van het DNS Operations Analysis Research Center (DNS-OARC). Duane woont met plezier verschillende technische conferenties bij en is lid van de Raad van Bestuur van de North American Network Operators Group (NANOG).
