Biografia
Duane è ingegnere capo, DNS Research, con specializzazione nei progetti DNSSEC. È responsabile della raccolta e analisi di grandi quantità di dati durante l'implementazione iniziale della zona radice firmata. Sta lavorando sul DNSSEC interoperability lab di Verisign e su altri strumenti DNSSEC sia per uso interno che pubblico. Si occupa anche della gestione dei progetti collaborativi di ricerca universitaria.
Prima di entrare in Verisign, Duane occupava la posizione di Direttore del DNS Operations Analysis Research Center (DNS-OARC). Duane partecipa con entusiasmo a varie conferenze tecniche ed è un membro del comitato direttivo del North American Network Operators Group (NANOG).
