The Verisign Labs team brings a tremendous breadth of expertise and talent.
Matt is a Data Architect within Verisign's Naming organization and is a part of the Verisign Labs Affiliate program. He has worked on several of Verisign's value-added services such as Data Analyzer and Name Suggestion. Matt has over 10 years of experience working with large data analysis systems and several Big Data technologies such as Hadoop. His current research is focused on the analysis of DNS traffic as a mechanism to detect malware.
Prior to joining Verisign in 2008, Matt received his M.S. in Information Systems and B.S. in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. He previously worked as a Software Engineer for USinternetworking (now AT&T) in the Annapolis, MD area until moving to Switzerland and joining Verisign.
