VERISIGN IN THE COMMUNITY

At Verisign, we take seriously our responsibility as corporate citizens in the communities that we live and work.

Our corporate social responsibility program was shaped by employees to reflect the issues that are most important to them and the world they live in. Through our Verisign Cares program, we make "giving back” part of our everyday lives.

VERISIGN CARES

Our mission with Verisign Cares is to make a positive and lasting impact on the global Internet community and the communities in which we live and work.

INTERNET INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT PROGRAM

The Internet Infrastructure Grant Program supports cutting-edge research in strengthening and improving the Internet’s global infrastructure. The 2012 grants focused specifically on fostering infrastructure improvements that support safe and secure Internet access for users around the globe, especially in the developing world.

MATCHING GIFTS

Verisign employees donate to more than 375 different nonprofit organizations around the world to support charitable efforts that are important to them. To maximize the impact of these donations, Verisign matches employee contributions dollar for dollar, up to $1,500 per calendar year. At Verisign, we are proud to support so many nonprofits working to improve the world in which we live and work.

VOLUNTEERISM

The Verisign Volunteer Program has been established to encourage employees to give their time in support of local community organizations as a cross-functional or intact work team. Verisign has allotted one day per quarter for teams to volunteer their time.
