NEW VERISIGN® DOMAINSCORE™ AND VERISIGN® DOMAINCOUNTDOWN™ ENHANCEMENTS AVAILABLE TO FACILITATE DOMAIN DISCOVERY
Announcing the release of two new API enhancements within DomainScore™ and DomainCountdown™ - two innovative resources provided by Verisign to assist you with discovering and acquiring valuable domain names at scale.
NOW AVAILABLE! A BRAND NEW DOMAINCOUNTDOWN™ API PROVIDING GREATER INSIGHT INTO DOMAIN NAMES RE-ENTERING THE MARKETPLACE.
Key features include:
- Customized Search. This allows you to query your custom search terms and defined criteria (name length, date available and Non Existent Domain (NXD) scores) to optimize your results.
- Domain Name Availability Check. This feature allows you to provide a domain name to check its pending availability as well as retrieve all the data currently available in the web interface.
NEW! ENHANCEMENTS TO DOMAINSCORE™ API TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DATA SETS INCLUDING COUNTRY OF ORIGIN AND TIME OF REQUEST.
Key enhancements include:
- Country of Origin. Quickly discover the DNS traffic for un-registered domain names with even more data available including where the traffic is originating from.
- Time of Request information provides insights into better identifying human traffic vs. automated traffic.
TO ILLUSTRATE THE POWER OF THESE API TOOLS, VERISIGN HAS PROVIDED THREE REPORTS THAT SHOWCASE THE SCALE AND SCOPE OF DATA THAT CAN BE AVAILABLE USING THESE TYPES OF TOOLS. THESE THREE REPORTS ARE A SNAPSHOT OF THE DATA AS OF JUNE 7, 2012.
- Expired Domains Receiving Traffic Report: This file contains a list of expired domains that are still receiving traffic for up to 3 months post-expiration, including NXD Traffic scores. Download
- Non-existing Domains Receiving Traffic by Country Report: Included is a list of non-existent domains by the country with the highest percent of requests along with their NXD traffic scores. Download
- Generic Terms + City Report: This report contains a list of non-existent domains generated by combining popular search terms with North American and European city names including their NXD traffic scores.
